Creative Fitness 8
- Train Your Creative Muscles -
THE ENGLISH VERSION
will start October 10th 2013!
30 days – 30 creative assignments
Simple – easy – FUN!!!
It’s my favorite workshop
so instead of just offering it in Dutch:
I’m going worldwide with it!
How is your “Creative and Juicy Living?”
Have you always been creative,
but have you been experiencing a block lately?
Do you have lots of plans,
but do you need to strengthen your action-muscles?
Would you like more space for your own creativity?
Would you like to start small, but do not know how?
Do you need a creative vitamin boost?
And are you in for a creative challenge?
From Oktober 10th to November 8th 2013 , I am organizing an online workshop that will awaken, strengthen and focus all your Creative Muscles. And just like with all regular training and fitness activities, your muscles will only grow stronger by using them – so that’s what we’ll do!
What do you get?
Creative Fitness is an online workshop.
A full month you will get a DO (Dutchess of Orange) Mail every day:
The Exercises are:
small (or a bit larger),
sometimes to chew over,
and always colorful
And yes, they WILL fit into your daily schedule!
They will be a lot of different assignments: writing, drawing, painting, taking photographs, thinking, talking, searching – and more. The exercises are all very easy to do – so absolutely no creative experience is needed – and I am very serious about that!!
The assignments that you get are for you all the places where your creative muscles are: your head, your heart and your hands. The exercises will invite you to look, think and create. I would like to show you creative ways of looking at the world, by using ordinary materials and finding inspiration in everything around us.
The exercises will be very divers. You will not learn specific techniques, but we will: paint, draw, write, search, think and talk. It is NOT (and I’m very serious about this) required to have any creative experience. It is my intention on this workshop to show you that living a creative life is very natural, not difficult and very, very wonderful!
And please remember this:
Creative Fitness is also not about “having to do your homework”. It is not stressful or pressuring. Creative Fitness is meant as an easy, fun and energizing and relaxing way of getting back or getting stronger in touch with your creativity. Please do not worry about the amount of assignments, I promise you there will be enough time left to breathe .
The materials you need are very, very simple.
- something to color with
- something to write with
- something to paint with
- different colors of paper (including white)
- a camera
Creative Fitness Facebook Group
There will be a PRIVATE Creative Fitness Facebook Group. This will be our home, a place to share you work and questions and be inspired and supported by the other participants. After Creative Fitness ends the Facebook Group will stay open for several weeks, so you have even more time to share the exercises.
The group will be a privatie group, so other people will not see your photo’s en reactions.
Costs and Payment:
Creative Fitness costs 30 dollar.
All assignments will be send in PDF-format – for you to keep forever and ever and ever.
After signing up for Creative Fitness I will send you a confirmation email and a Paypal-invoice.
All sales are final.
A few days before the workshops starts you will get some practical information about the organization of the workshop and access to the Facebookgroup.
And… if you have any questions, please email me at kim (at) dutchessoforange.nl.
I hope to see you soon!
Veel gestelde vragen:
What are the costs of Creative Fitness – Train Your Creative Muscles?
Creative Fitness costs 30 American Dollars. For this you will get a creative asignment everyday for a month.
How do we get the assignments?
Every day I will send you an email with a PDF containing the inspiration and exercise for that day.
Are the exercises for us to keep?
Yes, you can download the PDF’s onto your computer to keep forever and ever.
De you need to (want to) be an artist to join?
No. Honestly, you don’t. I like simple exercises anyone can do.
And……..if you are an artis anyway: you are very welcome!!!
Can I join even if my time is limited?
Yes, yes and yes again. Really! You can be in this workshop even if you don’t have a lot of time. I try to make the exercises as less timeconsuming as possible.
And if you have a little more time on your hands that day – go wild
And what if life get’s in the way and you can’t do the assignments for several days?
Like i said: Creative Fitness is about stimulating your creativity, not about “doing your homework”. There is more time in the Facebookgroup after the month is over – and the assignments are for you to keep.
What if you don’t have Facebook?
To participate in the workshop it is not required to have access to Facebook. However: this will keep you from the Facebookgroup, so you will not have the opportunity to share and be inspired by the others – and to me: that is the best part!
If you don’t want a Facebookaccount you could consider creating it for this workshop and then deleting it.
If you need any technical help with that, I’d be glad to assist!
And if you choose to do the workshop without Facebook: off course you are welcome to do so!
Read what others thought:
“When I signed up for Creative Fitness I knew that teaching workshops while raising a family was leaving almost no time for my own creativity. I was frustrated and needed someone to keep me motivated and focused on creating every day. However, what I got was so much more than I ever hoped.
Kim’s exercises got me so excited to create I wanted to stop everything I was doing to dive right in. Not only was she providing motivation to begin (which we all know is the hardest part) she was inviting me challenge myself. Through creative exploration, I was able to discover new lands within myself. And yet, her exercises went beyond just teaching.
Kim has the ability to “read” her students and thereby provide the perfect amount of inspiration, space, creativity, thought, imagination and magic when needed. She reminds you how important YOU are, how creative you can be, how much better you feel after you playing AND all the while she is engaging you to try to see the world from an entirely new perspective. She reminds you that you are a creative human being who needs to be kind yourself, make room for yourself and enjoy the process of creation. Honestly, I didn’t want this class to end and the best thing is Kim inspires YOU to keep creating long after the class is over so it doesn’t have to. Take this class. Open your heart, mind and soul. Remember the beauty of play. Let Kim inspire you to see world around you with new eyes. Create. Give yourself this gift. Trust me, you will be SO grateful you did!”
